Please pray.......

HI. I have 2 prayer requests for you prayer warriors. First, our good friend and DH's coworker was driving home from work Monday night (in the dark), when a 13 year old boy ran across an extremely busy highway - our friend hit him, killing the boy instantly. The family has been gracious and in last night's paper - placed no blame on anything except the busy road with no light. B, our friend, is devastated! Please lift him and his family up, and also please pray for the Anderson family.
My 2nd request is for a lady who just found out she has liver cancer, she's in her late 40's, married with two teenage boys. She's been a friend since I was in jr high. I haven't spoken in person with her yet to get all the particulars. Please lift her up too.
It's been really sad here, all Monday night I was up intercessing - we had no idea what the bad wreck was or who it was. We were even snapping at each other, then the next morning Dh called and told me what had happened. DH has been at B's house until midnight the last two nights - trying to comfort them, he's been a good friend. All I can do is pray, because I just cry when I think about all of it. I have hope, and I know that the Lord will bring them all through it - if they will lean on Him.
In His love,
Countrygirl

For in much wisdom [is] much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.
Ecce 1:18

Sorrow [is] better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better. Eccl 7:3

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Rev 21:4

Oh goodness, bless their hearts. I can't even imagine the grief of the young boys family, but even more so the family that hit him. I will be in prayer for both families, and your friend...

Sweet Friend, We'll keep all involved in prayer. So tragic and painful.

I was thinking about this today, and just thought I would let you know that ever since Monday night I have had no hip pain while sleeping at night. :) None at all! I'd say we serve a pretty mighty God. :) :) :)

Praise the Lord for you, Countrygirl, who is so obedient and a wonderful Intercessor! Will keep the listed families in prayer and your DH...may he continue to be a loving strength for them. Why is tragedy so much more difficult around the holidays? Oh my, my heart breaks for them but also prays that they will rise above and know that God is with them and will take them thru valleys they didn't think they could get thru!

Oh goodness! I'm so sorry to hear about all of this, yet thank you for sharing this with us so that we can lift everyone up in prayer. Leaning on the Lord is always the answer, isn't it?
