My soul is lifted but my body is down......

First day back to school and I am home in bed. Yuck! Saturday night I started feeling weird. I woke Sunday with knots at the back of my skull that hurt - sinus! Our friend Troy's Celebration of Life was held Sunday afternoon - Dh and I missed it. But.......praise God, people were saved during it! They had the preacher, who'd ministered to him while in Houston for treatment, do his service and the reports we've heard are blessed! He told the attendees that if they ever wanted to see Troy again - they'd better get right with Jesus right then - people listened! The angels were singing, Troy was smiling down, and I'm sure that God was too.

We have been hit with another storm - first rain and then blowing snow. About 5 inches so far this morning. Roads are slick and treacherous. It's that pure white that blinds you outside.

DH is so sweet, he's been a great help to me. I wanted to finish putting up Christmas stuff and get out my January things - so he helped me. He's finishing a walk-in closet for DS downstairs, closing off the air conditioning vent in the hall way, and putting up different lights in the kitchen. Praise God for this good man in my life!

Before I go lay back down I do have a few requests - LeAnna and RanchGirl - comfort and health; Gayla - her mom is dying, she's lived a rough life but praise the Lord - she accepted Jesus as her Savior Saturday; Troy's family - peace and comfort; healing for all of us who are sick right now. Thanks for the prayers!

Girl I wish I could relieve you of some of that moisture!! Yesterday I was out in the front yard with my handy dandy water hose soaking my grass and flower beds. My brother has had to turn on the pivots on the farms and we are about to choke to death on dust...
Hope you start feeling better - nothing like sinus stuff to make you feel yuck!!

Praying for you, sweet lady! Sinus issues are the pits. Thank you for your prayers and praise God for His healing virtue that flows through our bodies.

Sorry to hear you've got a hurtin' head! Get better soon.

Looks like we both have weather conditions we'd rather not have right now.

Bless your heart! Those kind of infections are very very rough. There is so much junk going around. Mama spent about 12/14 hours in the hospital the other night. She has the stomach stuff and had to be rehydrated.

You take care and I will be praying for a speedy recovery.

And yes you have a very good guy! Praise the Lord for husbands that help out.

Love you girl,
~M~
