July 4th

Growing up, the 4th was a busy time for us. We rodeo'd - Cowboy Christmas - we would hit 4 or more. Plus, while in junior and senior high, our rodeo club and 4H club had a snowcone machine. So we worked the local horse races as well. My sister and I carried the flags for the stock contractors for the parades and grand entries - they had us use their bucking horses - it was always a great time of year.

Now we don't have anyone rodeoing, so we actually get to do the barbeque and watch the fireworks. We went with my brother's family - DS and my sweet niece were hamming it up for the camera.

DS was home for the 4th, he goes back tomorrow.

These guys weren't hamming for pictures, except sweet s-i-l. We went into Elko and watched their show for a change - it was pretty good!

God bless America! We truly need to turn back to Him!

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. II Cor. 3:17

Until we meet again, may the good Lord take a likin' to ya'!
