St. Patrick's Day brought us......

...much needed moisture in the form of snow.  No complaints.  We had some really nice, warm days - but then looking out at the dry grassland - we need the moisture. Local ranchers were starting to worry if we'd have enough snow to irrigate the meadows.  We got well over a foot, but unsure how much more. It snowed all day yesterday and most of this morning and afternoon.  Now the sun is trying to shine before it goes down.

You take your chances walking to close to the house!

Billy Boy with his basketball - DH made a path for them, even Billy had to jump to get thru it.  It was over the tops of DH's bogs. He's shoveled the deck off 3 times, and there's still another 2-4 inches on the back.
The snow was so heavy on this tree, the wind brushed it off before it broke the branches.  Our St. Patrick's Day was spent inside by the fire.  Hope ya'll had a good day!

DS went to Idaho to see his girlfriend.  They drove up by Sun Valley to see my folks.  They ended up sandbagging for hours.  A field full of frozen snow had started to melt, then they got rain - lots of rain and snow.  The streets were flooding and backing up into the houses.  Dad & Mom's didn't flood - got mighty close, their neighbors on both sides did get some water damage.  Thank you Lord that it wasn't worse - please bless those who had/have trouble.
Until we meet again, may the good Lord take a likin' to ya'
