He was an athlete. His senior year he decided to wrestle. He weighed 169 and wrestled 189. He wrestled on sheer strenth, he didn't know the skills or have the advantage of years of coaching. When he won, the stands went wild!
He was light handed. He learned that a soft voice, gentle touch, and patience worked much better than run and gun! He was a horseman.
He was handsome, muscular, red headed, stronger than he realized, ethical, talented, onery, willing to take the chance, stubborn, he would go the distance needed. He was a true friend.
He made it! He excelled in welding, woods, student council, FFA, peer counseling, and helping his fellow man. He was a man.
