This was the Rubies Friday night. The sun was going down and we headed up the mountain. It's so beautiful there.
Below is dd and d s-i-l. What a terrific time we had! We sure hate to see them head home, but it's wonderful that they came. They spent time with all the family, stayed with my folks in Idaho. Visited great Gramma several times. It was good.
We always long for more of the visit, more time........just like we long for Heaven. You know that unsettled feeling? I get it a lot, when all the things in my life are going well. It's the longing to be Home in Heaven with Jesus
. A preacher told me I wasn't dissatisfied with life, that we should all yearn to be there. Before he explained it I figured I was just never satisfied and wanted more....more what, I did not know. Now when I get that stirring feeling, I spend some quiet time with God. Heaven is real, Jesus is real, God is real........and one sweet day I will see them all.Until we meet again, may the good Lord take a likin' to ya'.

I usually read your posts through the RSS feeds, which doesn't show me your real web page. I clicked over to the real thing today to find you've made some changes. Looks very nice.
I am so glad you had such a nice visit. That girl of yours looks so pretty. Marriage must be agreeing with her! I hope Your DSIL knows what a special young lady he has.

I also say an amen to your thoughts. I get the same way at times. I do think that the Lord puts that restlessness in our spirits at times to remind us this is only our home for a while.
