Thankful Thursday

Last week, DH and I got all the posts we had holes for cemented in. We got all the posts coped and ready to set the top rail on. We then got all the top rails set on! Glory! Glory! We were so dadgum sore Saturday night - we could barely walk. The picture is after a shower (no makeup) that evening - we put sunscreen on, wore hats, drank water all day - but we still had too much sun, and fun! My sweet honey took me to dinner - I doubt I could have cooked anything, we moved pretty slow at church Sunday, too.

The nice thing - we are really close to being done with the perimeter fence. The pasture fences shouldn't be near as hard - each pipe is about 300 pounds lighter! We are hoping to have them all done by October - pretty soon we won't be able to weld again because of fire danger; but if we have the pipe in the ground and the top rails on - then by the grace of God - we could finish after a good rain!

Thankful for: the winch on the flatbed that pulled the toprails up, muscles that hurt for the next 3 days; for a husband who does a fantastic job fencing - it's so nice and straight; and mostly thankful that this project is almost done!!!!!!

Until we meet again, may the good Lord take a likin' to ya'!

Okay - I had too many typo's in the first comment!

Sunburned nose and cheeks is the sign of a hard days work. That and smelling yourself!

Can't wait to see the end result!
