Someone or 'something' was there.......

Reaching across to DH's side of the bed - I groggily feel for him - he's long gone (leaves at 3:30 or before.)  It's somewhere between 4 and 5 A.M.  Wakened from a good dream - I feel something or someone is near!  I hold each breath and quietly let them out.  My dog, Pistol who's laying beside me on the bed isn't moving - and he can hear a rabbit walk across the snow outside.  Still every sense in my body is on full alert.  I feel like the deer who know a predator is near - yet unsure where it'll attack from. Listening I move so I can see the bedroom entrance and the window - nothing!  Yet the hair tingles on my neck.  I hear NOTHING!  No sounds at all. Not at all normal!  I lay there and ask for Jesus's protection. Pistol stirs, but only to scoot against me.
(Great, now I have to go to the bathroom.)
I try to pray but nothing will come to mind so I pray in the spirit. My faithful and loving God brings to mind -  "He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world."  "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." The Lord's prayer. God's word calms me.  Okay, now I'm awake and decide to get up.  I have a gun in the corner but I know it's not someone - it's something.

Do ya'll ever have this happen?

Well I started really praying, got out of bed and on my knees and prayed.  Then I got up - went to the bathroom, went to the kitchen to get a drink, and still I could feel it.  I wasn't apprehensive anymore - but I could still sense something.  I went to the computer and turned on Charles Stanley and his words were perfect; then Greg Laurie and again - they touched me.  I got dressed and went to work.  At I was leaving, I looked to see if I could spot anything - I didn't.

I believe that the battle is raging around us - just like the Bible tells us.  If God is for us - who can be against us? Hold fast to the word of God.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephes 6:11, 2

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:38, 29

You are so right the battle we are in is one that for the most part we cannot see. Keep the faith and stand strong. I fully believe that things like this will increase in these last days. But greater is He who is in us then he who is in the world.

Praise the Lord you know how to fight those spiritual battles, which seem to be increasing. I know exactly what you are talking about~it's almost "creepy" feeling. But then again, the enemy is a creep! lol
Thank you for sharing your word and experience, I pray that it will touch others and we can rise up as the body of Christ and fight these battles that we do not physically see.
Have a wonderful and blessed weekend sweet friend!!
