We got to Laramie & got DS's truck loaded. Missed our flight so we rented a car in Cheyenne and headed to NM to see Ranchwife and family!

Somewhere near Ranchwife's but still a few hours away - we so wanted to get there for Cowboy Church - nothing like worshiping with our lifelong friends - but we got there too late. 
DH's family - they all came to one house in TX and we had a terrific Labor Day together.

Our wonderful friend and partner, C, when we had cattle trucks. We love this guy! He wife of many years went home to Jesus in July - he knows that she's in a better place, but he sure misses her. And so did we - what a weird feeling to be in that house and not see her coming around the corner or sitting at the kitchen window! 
The dry, dry land of Texas that we love so much - heartbreaking to see and hear how many ranchers and farmers are selling lots of their cows because they have no feed! We serve a God who hears our cries snd keeps every tear. Please pray for our country and for each other!

Thanks Rachel and Les, it was a fast, fun trip. One of these days we need to have a 'blogger buddy get together'! How fun would that be?
A Blogger Buddy get-together would be AWESOME! I'm praying that somehow, someday, God will provide that opportunity!
