The Wonderful Sun

Yes, I did it. I looked straight at it and took a picture! We haven't seen much warmth since November and it's so wonderful and warming! Thank you dear Lord for this warm day.

Stepping outside you can start to feel that warmth just soaking into your skin and your face just automatically turns upward to feel it. Too bad we don't do that with the Son, too.

I have a friend who was in deep turmoil - circumstances in her family and close friends were all depressing and it was dragging her down. She was getting physically sick with it all. I tried to witness to her about turning it all over to God, letting Him work out the kinks and just trusting Him. How can she understand, Lord, when she just doesn't truly know You? I found this scripture when reading Thursday morning and thought it was perfect.

"In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuinesness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though iti s tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith - the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1: 6-9

Have a wonderful weekend, and rejoice for you are more precious than gold - that has been tested by fire - the the One who loves you! Go soak up some Sun!

I woke up to a beautiful, blazing sun and was instantly charged with energy! How like our Savior to refresh us and give us a charge when we so desperately need to feel His incredible power!

Thank you for your insight!

PS - I love the post with DH's hands. May I borrow the idea?
