Camping in Idaho

DH was manning the dutch ovens! Really he was helping Grampa who somehow snuck out of this picture. The fellowship was terrific, as was the food, we camped right by the river and that's what we went to sleep to and woke up to. This was all part of my folks 50th anniversary present from us. The next part is going to the Pendleton Roundup's 100 year anniversary in September.

Here's part of our camp. We got Mom & Dad a room at the lodge down the road, so every morning they'd drive down and could go back when they wanted. The kids
had been in the river - hence the clothes line.

Beautiful camping area! We fished, tubed, walked, but mostly sat around and relaxed! DS came in about 4 one mornin', he drove after work - took him 8 hours. He was up and hiking at 5:30, floated the river, and drove around.
We cooked breakfast and supper - dinner was sandwiches or whatever you could find (I had watermelon and cantalope)!

DS and Jack - long time family friend.
